This auction is for a Series of 1899 Five Dollars Silver Certificate from the United States with the Indian Chief on the front.
This note is very heavily circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding, folded-over areas); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has smudges, dark and dirty areas, grease and/or rust stains, areas of discoloration); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough in many areas and some areas of edge damage); many edge indents/nicks (multiple tears exist); very heavy surface wear and fraying; many, many scattered pinholes and other small holes throughout; small pieces missing due to heavy wear and damage.
