    Description

    Up for auction is an antique copper tub that could have been used as a washtub or to can food.  It does not have the lid or any canning parts.  The copper has been polished and sealed with a clear sealer.  The inside has not been refinished.  I have used it as a decorative piece with several other antiques but we are downsizing and can no longer keep this.  It came from my husband’s family a number of years ago.  Age and maker are unknown.  There are some dings and dents that are expected with its age.  I cannot see any holes in it.  There are two black wooden handles on either end that are held on with some kind of metal.  The tub is 13” deep and about 29” long handle to handle.  The tub has decorative indented rings that go entirely around it.  Nice decorative piece or it could be used to hold firewood or kindling or however you want to use it.  Currently it is filled with silk greenery.  No shipping.  LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.
