MACCORDION Model 165. Rare Nickelodeon / Orchestrion

Description

The MACCORDION is rare instrument of the orchestrion era. A product of the late G.W. MacKinnon, very few were made.
This automatic accordion-playing nickelodeon was the last of several produced by G.W. MacKinnon of Charlotte, North Carolina, Purveyor of Fine Automated Musical Instruments. It was known as the "MACCORDION Model 165". It is accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity by Mr. MacKinnon himself, dated November 1996.
It contains a player piano, two playing accordions, a snare drum, bass drum, glockenspiel, tambourine, triangle, wood block and cymbal. All of this contained in a custom crafted cherry and birch wood cabinet and automated by a player piano roll.
