    Description

DEAD PAWN NAVAJO SANDCAST CONCHO BELT WITH KINGMAN TURQUOISE
This is a beautiful old Navajo concho belt from my Mom's hidden stash from the 70's.  During this time, she often sought out old pawn pieces in the early to mid 70's for her jewelry store.  Many of her nicer pieces purchased never made it to the cases, but landed in her hidden stash, which we found cleaning out our childhood home.  Her note with this piece said, "Old pawn.  Sterling silver."  I also did the testing I list below to confirm to the best of my abilities that it is sterling.  It is not stamped with a hallmark of any kind.  It has a beautiful patina.  However, in case  you wanted to buff it, I'll include a free buffing puff with the purchase.
The buckle and conchos measure approximately 2 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" high,  The belt is 1 1/4" wide.  The punches spread between 33-35" plus an additional 3 3/4" to the end that can be punched.  The turquoise is beautiful Kingman.  It has 9 conchos plus the buckle, all are sand cast.
It weighs 335 grams, including the belt.

I identify stones to the best of my ability.
Turquoise may or may not be treated.  If I know it is block turquoise, coral, or opal, I will state so.  Understand I am not an expert.  I can only base it on why my Dad taught me when he repaired jewelry.
I test stones using the hot needle test and if silver isn't marked sterling or 925, I will test using magnet and ice.  (Ice melts lightening fast on sterling silver, much faster than on a
    nickel
or silver-plated item.  Silver is not magnetic.)
We do our best to document our items accurately.  The only reason we will accept a return is if we misrepresent an item by accident.  (I am human.)  Please contact us prior to leaving feedback should this be the case.  We believe that customers deserve a more personalized buying experience and our feedback demonstrates that.  This is our #1 priority.
If there is a hallmark, I will do my best to identify the artist.
